Prayer's Place
As God's children may we in these days be found to be a people of prayer. If there is a short coming in our lives as God's children today, it is in our prayer life. We need desperatly to get back to the place where prayer is a daily habit.The promises of God are at our disposal and we are missing out on the blessings of God simply due to the fact that we are no taking God at his word. If there is one thing God delights in, it is hearing from his children. If there is one thing that moves God, it is to see his children in faith, come to his throne of grace and to claim his promises to them in prayer. God is waiting for us to believe and recieve the benifits of being his children. Mark it down, if God is going to bless someone, it is going to be his children, who are willing to come to him, obey him, and seek his will for their lives. God is waiting, the question is are we willing. Let prayer be a vital part of your christian experience and watch your christian experience become alive and exciting. It is our choice, it is your choice. As God says in Malachi 3:10 ....prove me now herewith, sayeth the Lord of host, if Iwill not open you the windows of heaven, and pour out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to recieve it.
In Jeremiah 33:3 God says," Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not." then again in 11 Chronicals, "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray....." There is a constant bombardment of scripture that exhorts us to be a people of prayer. It is in prayer that multitudes of biblical personalities are found experiencing victories, reciving God's blessings, and coming out of preplexing situations, all as the results of turning to God in prayer. Why not us? Why are we not experiencing such great victories, why are we not reciving God's blessings? Could it be we are not praying as we ought. If God would speak audiably to us today, I'm, sure he would remind us that we have forsaken our prayer closets and the he is waiting on us. Let this be a time when we as God's people return to God and to prayer, to God, as a source of strenght and direction for our daily lives.

We can only begin to imagine the diffrence it would make if each person came in such a way.What doors it would open for God to begin a miracle of renewal and revival in our own personal lives, after all thats where all true revivals begin. "IN THE HEARTS OF GOD'S PEOPLE". Join Hettie and I in prayer as we make our way into God's house each Sunday. How long has it really been since you came into God's house in an attitude of prayer, expecting something great to happen.Why not let it be, this Sunday!

FAITH It's been said: " Faith that fizzles in the finish was faulty from the first." Can you imagine how Peter's faith was challenged every time he heard a rooster crow after his denial and restoration. Oh , that God could make us so sensitive, that some little something, would every day remind us of our obligation and our commitment as a christian !
